Hello to all,
I am hoping to pick up a new Sport Trac in a week or two (when my dealer finds me one with the options I need). I am currently rocking a reliable old S-10 with 135k miles on it (and still going strong). This will be my first Ford, I've owned nothing but GM's and european cars in the past. I am looking forward to it (this will also be my first new car). I can't believe the Sport Trac isn't more popular than what it is. It's the only vehicle that I found that that can reliably tow a 23 -25 ft boat, seat 4 adults and their junk, and also get reasonably decent mileage when not towing, all while not breaking the bank. It fits my needs well. I probably won't do much to it, other than small bolt ons (Intake, exhaust, tune), stereo upgrades, and maybe lower it a tick if someone comes out with a complete solution that doesn't make it ride like a buckboard and wear out tires every 10k miles. Anyhow, I just wanted to say high, look for me to post in the forums once I get it!
