I am not an explorer Owner, but am part of an electric car club at the University of Missouri. We are converting a 1997 4wd into a 2wd all electric daily driver. Our goals are to get highway speeds with a range of 100 miles. I have not had too many issues arise as of yet that could not be habdled. The one question I did have is posted in the forums already about the 2wd conversion. I will post picks and a link to our facebook build page as soon as time permits.
