Found you folks looking for answers to perplexing problems. I have a dark blue '99 XLT 4X4 with 130k on it. Bought it earlier this year when I moved to Colorado.

So far, fixed a few minor issues.

Also found out that the Chilton and other "manuals" are nearly useless for most repairs. A lot of the pictures and descriptions bore no resemblance to mine! The best one I found is www.eautorepair.net which has the Mitchell online manuals. You need to subscribe for your particular model.
