Hello Im new to the site but ive read some posts and like it so far. I recently bought a 98 explorer sport with the sohc that doesn't run. I'm planning on putting a 302 in it from a 97 mountaineer. Do i have to use the transmission from the mountaineer or can i use the one that is in my x-sport? Also, is there anything else I need to be aware about other than the wiring harness, driveshaft, and exhaust being different?

G'day Jake, I know they were different tranny's but I'm not sure if they are interchangable.
