I have a 1992 2 door 4x4 Explorer I bought in 1991. I still drive it 50 miles round trip to work and back daily and it runs great and is in great condition. Im up to 240,000 miles now.

I have been into VW's for a awhile restoring, fixing, and generally keeping them nice. I thought it was time to spend time on the Ford now and have begun fixing all the small things that have worn out over the years.

I found this site by searching for some tech help on my Explorers arm rest. Nice site, I hope to contirbute.

hey i just got ahold of a 97 2 door sport i really like this rig its bone stock on streat tires. but thats all changing soon. i previously had a 95 4 door 2 wheel drive with a three inch lift 32s and a limited slip diff. well that one recently died and this 2 door is the new project

Hi Again,

I have been refurbishing my 1992 4x4 Sport Track and finding good information here from others on a few misc things like fixing my leaky fixed side window and getting the center arm rest out and back in to the console.
I replaced my broken center console, recharged the AC that works great now, and spent several days detailing it and it looks almost showroom new from 10 feet..
Also I spent several hours filling in rock chips with touch up paint and it looks great now and my next step is to sand and repaint some peeling clear coat areas on the roof. The before and after pictures so far are great.

So finding tech topics here is straight forward and I appreciate others for posting really good info with pictures too in many cases.


Today I decided I would add a profile picture to my account here, but I am having a difficult time figuring out how to add that profile picture.
I get an error when I click the empty picture area in my profile now.

Are there any Help links here that go over the adding a profile picture?
