i have replaced my stock sports fog lights with some cheap 55 watt ones from parts store My problem i am blowing fuses soon as i hit the switch, they blow. I have checked all the wires where i spliced none are grounding. It is blowing the under hood fuse only. If i need a relay where would be the best place to slice it in and do i need to run higher gauge wires

You shouldn't need to. The stock fog lights also use 55 watt bulbs. Either you made some kind of mistake with your wiring, or there is a short inside the housing.

stock fogs are 35 watt , not 55 watt,
that should be the problem,,
what size fuse is it ?

15 amp fuse under the hood

DO NOT PUT IN A BIGGER FUSE,,,

putting in a bigger fuse will make the wires going to the fog lights heat up and melt the coatings,,
and that is a whole new problem if that happens,,

ok so what is the fix is there a single power wire i can tap into under the truck that feeds both and use a relay or what

i used one of the wires from the factory foglight harness to trigger a relay and ran new power wires for the lights, through the relay,
