HELP! Aftermarket Stereo caused entire system not to work

Hey guys,

I recently put in an aftermarket stereo in my sport trac and after i had connected all the wires from the new harness to the new deck my stereo stopped working.

The deck is still getting power because when I plug it in I can feel it vibrating, as well as when I reset it, it will also vibrate, the only problem is there is no visual display or sound.

I have checked the fuses and both look to be in perfect condition with no signs of being blown...

Any idea what the problem might be?

Sounds like you probably need the factory amp bypass harness. It can depend on the year and which factory stereo it was equipped with.

The best way to find out is to look on Crutchfield's website.
