Help! Alarm goes off when cold weather!

Sorry; posted this in the wrong forum, so I moved it to correct year; it's a 1997.

Well; OK- you may be right. But why doesn't the loss of voltage, as you say, become apparent at other tiimes? The battery is brand new and is full at all times (sort of at least.)

I'll bet the battery going weak overnite is what's causing the alarm to fire off, rather than the other way around. Most alarms I see will react to voltage out of normal range and/or sudden changes in voltage.
