HELP, alternator problem

ok, wonderful husband is too busy to post, so here goes, the alternator on our explorer died last week, we replaced it with a rebuilt one from Pep Boys, didn't work, they tested it and gave us another, still no luck, so we replaced the battery, and still after charging all night, if you drive the car, the battery is drained, as if the alternator is bad, the odds of getting two bad parts seem unlikely (also, the second one is new, not reconditioned), so is there anything else we should check........
 






Go to another auto parts store and have them do a battery and alternator test. That should tell you for sure.
 






Replace the battery cable ends (negative and positive) and if that doesnt work, check the wires from your alternator to your battery and battery to ground. They might be rotted out. That's all I can think of...
