HELP: Amp Guage Acting up

I just had the starter replaced today and when I got the car back I noticed that the amp guage was stuck all the way to the left so I gave it a knock and it went right over to its usual spot. When I turn the car off the needle goes back to the far left and gets stuck again. Are there any wires that could have been crossed and just need to be reconected. Any ideas would be appreciated.

mine does the same.... not that i really care about it... if im courious about it... i just hit it and it goes and works fine... i just live with it.
