Help annoying noise!!!!

I have a 2002 v8 limited, there is annoying sound that sounds like it comes from the rear driver side, someone told me it was the heat shield. when accelerating it ralltes as if there is two pieces of metal held on by a screw or something. I checked the piece by the spare tire and giggled it and didnt hear any thing. This happen to anyone. Id like to just tighten it casue thats what it sounds like needs to happen before it falls off.

its kinda like at the beggining of each gear till about 3500 4000 rpm

Check the welds holding the heat shields on the catalytic converter.

So each gear(1-5) it will make the rattle sound till about 3500rpm? Does it get worse when you accelerate harder? Lightly?

Edit: Is this something that just started to happen and how long has it been?

seems to be every gear can hear it as much at highway speeds not sure casue the wind or if it stops. It stared like a couple weeks ago i would say.

I was aiming for bad gas, as in pinging when you accelerated. But I'm off and not sure exactly, could be anything everyone else has mentioned though.

Maybe the start of a bad wheel bearing?

figured it out the metal shield this is around the i think tranny right next to the catylitic converter, the one part of the meatl was cracked right before the bolt that was holding it on, all i did was bend the metal slightly so it wasnt in contact with the othe piece of metal. i thought it was going to be something i had to buy and fix thank god lol
