Since it actually started to get cold a few weeks ago ive been warming the Explorer up in the morning before i go out. Well i noticed that there was an exhust leak... I climbed under, and saw a gaping hole, about the size of a quarter, where the hanger once was attached to the pipe.

Now i spend all this money on the Borla, its not even a year old yet and i run into a problem with a hanger mount.

Does anyone out there have the warantee info for the Borla? What number do have to call?? Who do i get to yell at? Has anyone else run into probs with the Borla Cat-Back System??

Ahh... well i want to remind everyone that the longer your away from this site the worse your Explorer will behave.

call up whoever you bought it from and they will give you the warranty info

If you are the original buyer then the warranty is lifetime. If you bought it second hand, you're out of luck but you could always contact Borla and plead your case to see if they would stand behind their products - worst they can say is no.

You can check their web-site (www.borla.com) for warranty information. Their response will probably be to start with the place you purchased it from. It does have either a million mile warranty or a lifetime warranty, I can't remember which. It sounds like a freak thing though since it is the first failure I have heard of on a Borla. Any chance your tail pipe might have gotten banged while off-roading?

If i remember right, which doenst happen to often, i bought the cat back from truck performance... but i ended up dealing with borla.

I too have never heard of problems with Boral, but i did mail in my warantee info card a few days after i installed it and i think the warantee was 1,000,000 miles.

Considering I have not been in the woods since i put this exhust on, you can chuck the idea that i hit it wheelin.

Just currious, did anyone else have to wait 7 weeks from the time of purchase until thier cat back arived at thier door??

Have a great day everyone.
