help, "brake" light keeps coming on.

for the past week or so my "brake" ight on the dash seems to be coming on when i accelerate it pretty much stays on til the car is warm, then it turns on when i accelerate and off as soon as i let off the gas. very wierd!
i thought maybe my parking brake was stuck on, but its not. does this light have anything to do whith anything but the parking brake??? what could be doing this.?

You need to add brake fluid. Its low. The main reason for low brake fluid is worn brake pads, so check those first. Replacing the pads will force you to compress the pistons which will back flow the fluid into the fill tank.

Yep, the master cylinder is low on fluid. The Brake light in the dash is actually dual purpose... it comes on to let you know when the E brake is on and also when you are low on fluid.
