Well basically the light keeps popping on in my dashboard, then dissapears......it seems to MAINLY do this when im off-roading....hitting potholes or bumps.

but it ALSO occasionally pops up REALLY FAST then goes away when im driving at high speeds on the highway.

I did a google search, and supposedely the light only triggers on a few things.

1.) low brake fluid
2.) un-even hydraulic fluid in the lines.

I checked my brake fluid, its FULL.

So this is probably just a Glitch right?
Im guessing it's just the TEMPORARY hydraulic pressure or fluid thats triggering the light whenever i hit a big bump or pot hole.....

Anybody had this before?

The light looks like this.........(! BRAKE !)..........or similar to that.

This happens to me sometimes, but rarely though.

I think that my e-brake sensor is just phasing out some times. It think my ebrake is pushed down when it is not.

I dont worry about it.

i had this same problem in my 99. for me it was the fluid was low then when changing the brakes in the rear i noticed the cable was snapped on the right side. once i filled the fluid up it stopped coming on. plus after replacing the snapped cable everything went back to normal.

I had the same issue but mine was saying low brake fluid on the display and it happened lot. I just couldnt take it anymore, and I knew that I had brake fluid. It ended up being a sensor right after the master cylinder was faulty, replaced it and called it a day. Havent seen that stupid light on since. (more than a year)

Thanks guys.

Yea im 99% sure its just a sensor or just a glitch.

Thats what i hate about newer vehicles....too many damn sensors!

(i had the same problem with my s-10 ZR2....whenever i took it off-road i would get ABS lights and emissions lights flickering and stuff, lol.)

I take my SUV thru water/mud sand and snow alot, so its probably just a sensor problem.

my brake light stays on all the time im pretty sure that its a sensor issue for both of us
