Alright guys. I'm begging for some help. I've been in the process of refilling the radiator (for two days) after completely draining the engine. I've read all the threads on filling and squeezing the upper radiator hose, but I'm not having any luck. I still have lots of air in the upper radiator hose and I can't get any heat to come out of the vents when the engine is warm. That tells me I still have a good deal of air in the system. I don't see how the air is supposed to come out of the upper hose when the U portion next to the engine is the highest point. Of course it is going to trap air there.

What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rev the crap out of it, also you could pull off one of your heater core hoses (find the return hose) and wait until coolant comes out and stick it back on

Iv never had a problem that way

I usually let the engine warm up with the radiator cap off untill I can see the coolant start to flow or the level drops and then top it off. If you drive it and just keep an eye on the coolant level for a few days eventually you will get all of the air out.

Thanks. I will try that tonight.
