question - i have a 93 xlt and want to do a cat abck exhaust (i do not want to do headers - mainly cause of the cost), and HAVE read tons of threads about the benie's, but haven't been able to find anyone having done it on a 93', my uncertainty comes from have talked to one of flowmasters installation shops and being told that because i have a 93 i won't feel much/any difference????
i'm told it's because in 93 ford in their infinite wisdom downsized the exhaust system (from engine to cat)from 2.25" to 2.0". So if you have now our have past installed or had a cat-back system on a "1993" exploder, please let me know your opinions
thanx - todd

Go and consult with your local muffler shop they can design and build a custom cat back for your truck.

Mine on my 99 cost about $200 and works great.

Good luck.....

thats cool - thats what i've been checking into, on the 99's what was the pipe size from engine to cat?

Not sure but it looks like the 2 1/3" that I have from the cat back.

thanks for checking - i'm still lost though, does that extra .25-.33 of an inch on the initial piping make that much difference?

dynomax super turbo kit

i have found a company that sells dynomax super turbo complete cat-back kits for my truck for only $107.83 delivered, is this a good deal?
