Ok just joined Hello everyone, and searched forum for this , have 1 now issue and one possible issue as I was T/Sht'ing issue 1. I have a what can only be described as a electrical buzzing sounds liks a hot wire laying on the engine. Happens only under moderate acceleration stays constant in frequency (fast) sounds like a mini solonoid sticking - very noticable, sounds the same always and does not change with engine RPM. So I tried reving the engine in park to isolate with my steth and the engine cuts out bad and sputters before I even get it up top 2G's. I realize there is a limiter but I am pretty sure I should be able to get up to 35g or 4g's. Not coming over radio so elininating fuel pump in tank (unless it is up in the engine). Truck does ok on the open road floor it it goes. 175K miles. Thoughts? I hauled a yard of mulch this weekend does not seem to have a power issue. Does have a little miss at idle.

Start the truck up, spray some salt water or glass cleaner on all of the spark plug wires close to the spark plugs. I bet you get a light show, it's called arcing. I had this very problem a couple weeks ago and replaced the bad wires which solved the issues.

It could very well be something else but it would be worth a look.

No check engine light or trouble codes?

Did not think of bad wires good call originals on there, other thing I read online on a search was on mustangs the coil bracket can loosen causing the buzzing noise its constant on frequency but at that acceleration may be tough to distinguish I will try that this weekend good call, thanks Will let you know Guido

No check engine light or trouble codes?

Did not read the codes yet has not been read in couple of years since I had a vacuum leak on that little pipe on top by the air cleaner. Will have them read this weekend and cleared, then read again in a week to see what's new, Thanks Guido
