Help finding a part name or number for ignition.

So today I had to change my ignition and I broke a piece that sits behind it.

It was the metal part that sets between the gear and the green rubber piece.

Without having that piece the car wont start, just turn over.

Anything thing helps. A part # or a name for it.

Welcome. Do you have a pic of the piece you broke?. I did a google search & after reading the posts, post #-6 that describes how to change the ignition switch it sounds like you broke the PATS (passive anti theft system) theft system key reader transponder. That would probably be why the truck will not start now.
