help! i can only start a thread here...my brake lights stoped working! 911

I have a 97 Eddie explorer awe 5.0 and my lowered two brake lights stoped working....I changed the bulbs and fuse and even changed out the turn signal switch because I heard from another forum that can be the culprit with no success. The brake lights come on when I turn on the head lights as they should but don't brighten when I push the pedal. The third brake light still works fine. So that rules out the Peddel switch.

I noticed my headlights have been rigged and spliced together so after reading this thread I thaught maybe my lom is going out....does it control the brake lights? It's getting really cold out and I can't keep riding my motorcycle! Thanks

Sounds like u have lost your ground.

they are working with the headlights on so they have to be getting ground. they just arnt getting brighter wen the pedal is pushed. i pulled out the lom (lamp outage module) and three of the pins had broken solders....i went to two pick and pull type places and couldnt find one and called all around....any idea where i can find one?
