Possibly a stuck/sticking transfer case shift motor? Any additional specs on the truck: V8 or V6, transmission, 4WD or AWD?

Hmm, I don't quite know how to assess your problem. Can you restate your issue in proper english please? Sounds like the problem is either with your transmission or transfer case.

Your truck doesn't have 2wd unless you did the brown wire mod. It has 4auto, 4high & 4low. Place the truck up on jackstands front & rear and put it in 4HI and see if the front & rear driveshafts spin. If the front one doesn't it may be the torque on demand clutch or related parts in the t-case.

well it felt like it popped out of gear into neutral and when i put in park it would grind defenitly in the t-case!!! it seems that when it rolls a couple feet it will drive and then pop in neutral!!

welcome and that sux bout ur x

I would tap the shift motor with a hammer and see if you can get it to return to "2wd". If no result, get a 10mm socket and pull the shift motor off. Then take a pair of pliers and turn the knob to "2wd" by hand. I'm sure it's all labeled under the shift motor. Good luck!
