Help!!!!!!!!!!! Installing a cd player into 91 Explorer

I was able to take out the old factory radio, just fine. I even hooked up the wires correctly..I also placed a cd into the cdplayer. Then I relized I for got to put the mounting sleeve in. So I unhooked the wires, placed the mounting sleeve in then hooked up the cd player again. Now I am not getting any response from it. I am confused. I have tried everything I can think of even, unhooking the wire harness, then reconnecting the wire harness. How can things be going so right then right down the hill? If you can help that would be great....Also I wanted to make sure there wasn't a fuse issuse so I hooked up the old radio. No problem there. It worked fine.

That sure is alot of exclamation points....anyways....
There should be a fuse on one of the power wires on the after market harness. Check that. If thats fine, take out the after market harness and reconnect all the wires again. See if that helps. Odds are its just a loose wire.

Still nothing...

I rewired it again and still nothing. This is my girlfriend's explorer and she is getting real upset with me. What happened it was working then it stoped.

Have you tested the 12v, ground, and switched with a multimeter yet?

Solved

I did everything I could do. So i took the cd player back to the store switched it with another. Bam! Works fine. I guess I didn't do anything wrong in the first place. It was just the cd player

That sucks, yours and one you bought was bad? Talk about bad luck. lol.
