I am having a hard time keeping all the different transfer cases straight. I am considering swapping to a 5.0/4r70w combo and need a manual t-case to go with it. I would prefer fixed flange on the rear output and a yoke on the front like my current 1354, is there a bolt on t-case like this?

there is,, from the F 150,, the 4406 manual or electric case works on the 4r70w trans for the 5.0 engine,,

but remember, the 4406 does not have an output flange, its a slide in style driveshaft (from a 5.4 4wd navi or expedition)

This is what i have seen so far, is there a version of 4406 without the slip yoke?

One more try to see if anyone knows of a transfer case alternative to the 4406?

I would really like a unit with out the slip yoke and preferably smaller, anyone?

If you end up going with a 4406, I have one with both driveshafts and all of the shift linkages as well as the shifter with the boot.

I decided to leave mine AWD.

I would imagine shipping would be a deal killer for me from Florida to IN. I already have the Expedition rear driveshaft and my front will have to be custom because of the TTB frontend.

If you don't mind checking into shipping price, let me know what the total would be for the Tcase and linkage shipped to 46118.

Thanks

Sure, it will probably be this weekend before I can get that info.

I had the t-case shipped from Arizona, so I will see what that cost.

We're looking at $75 on the transfer case and around $25 on the shifter and linkages.
