I have a 1999 eddie bauer explorer and auto zone said that it has a crankshaft position sensor going out. What it does is when you get to about 40 it will start spitting and sputtering but i no it has nothing to do with the ignition i have replaced everything in it. I checked fuel system it fine i put a new cam shaft sensor in it. does anyone else think that autozone is right and if so how hard is it to change.

yea the read the codes but they said that it was mis firing on 2 cylinders and at first they said cam shaft sensor but now they say crankshaft sensor.

the check engine light isnt on anymore

ok the sputter got worse and now my truck doesnt heat up on the temp gauge at all it had a cracked radiator in it cause my dad took off my metal skid plate and put the plastic one on but i fixed that anyone have anymore info that could help are they linked
