i am pulling my tranny and the alignment plug on the drivers side wont come out it is stuck in there really good and i bent a solid steel pry bar so i dont kno where to go to next and i have evrything undone any advice on how to get it out... :shoot::banghead::help::troops:

Is it stuck on the dowel? You can try rocking the trans side to side or up and down without knocking it off the jack. Try spraying some wd40 in there also.
 






are you sure you got all 6 bolts out?
 






everything is unbolted all the bolts the lines the linkage but the tranny just wont slide off the dowel all the way
 






you have the torque converter unbolted? there should be enough room as long as EVERYTHING is unbolted to rock the transmission a bit. I've had transmissions stuck on dowels before all the time. Basically, you rock it for a little while, eventually it comes loose. Never fails. Careful, it is a little heavy, might want to use a transmission jack.
