Help me please!!

I ordered my X on 2/2 and just got a build date of the week of 6/6. My dealer hasn't been much help and I only got this info because I called Ford's Corp office. Can someone please tell me why such a delay for a delivery when i was quoted 8 weeks? Also how long for delivery to NJ was completed and is there any way to push this up to next week? Any help would be greatly appreciated. James

Send a Private Message to Cory (username: FordCustServ), our resident Ford customer service rep here on the forum. He can't really affect the manufacturing and delivery process, but he can track your X, and inquire if there is some sort of hold up. He'll need your dealer number and order number (get these from your dealer).

My guess is your dealer didn't use or didn't have an allocation and you ended up at the end of the priority list. You need to press your sales rep for an explanation.

Make sure you are getting a 2012 model too. Dont accept a 2011 at this point since the 2012's are building in June anyway.

To date I have NOTHING.... NO VIN..... NOTHING!!!!!!!!

So disappointed, don't know what to do.... I'm debating on going with a Cherokee

This sounds like something I would like to help with by researching your order. I’m not sure what the status is but if you send me a private message, including your VIN or dealer name / dealer code & order number, I would be happy to do everything I can to find out more information.

well my X is finally built and awaiting shipmet. Just hope it doesnt take as long as it did to get a VIN and built. Ready to cancel whole order as im so disgusted with Ford! Funny its been so long that I got a letter from my dealership offering me to get out of my lease early. Amazing since my lease hasn't even started. Im sure Ford doesn't care that its been almost 5 months to get this truck. My friend ordered a Q5 from Audi and took 4 weeks to be bult and shipped from Germany. Maybe Ford with at least pay for my Sirus for my lease doubt it. And is there also alot of problems with this MFT? Will I regret getting this truck
