Hi folks i have a 2000 model xlt here in Bulgaria and I'm having a nightmare as i have bought the car registered here, but as it has moved counties it has to be done again. problem is it was registerd from new with the VIN number on the log book and the new region want a chassis number which they insist is stamped on the chassis rail, somewhere! Well after two weeks looking I cant find one so i'm buggered at the moment! does anyone know where it is(exactly) and how many numbers letters it may be. Ford have been no help at all and european ford say they don't know as its an american vehicle!
