Help me with a decision on XM!

If I were to get the Roady, in which method would I use to hook it up to my Sony HU? Don't I need a special cable or something?

Depends on what inputs your current HU has.

The best hook up is via Line In jacks on the HU.

The one I borrowed had a little transmitter in the DC adaptor. I tuned my radio to one of six selectable radio frequencies and I was good to go.
Easyest dang instal ever.
If there is a way to hardwire it I would do that first.
As been mentioned, straight wire will always sound better than the transmitted, even though it is transmitting just a few feet.
