Kodiak,

I have some pics of both my front and rear bumpers that I made. Is that what you are looking for, or are you looking for "off the shelf" units?

Here is a rear bumper I made for a Ranger...

And a front winch bumper for the same Ranger.

To build the front bumper on an Explorer I would need the vehicle here, since the frames differ from Ranger to Explorer.

Anything else can been seen on my website in my sig.

here are pics of my custom bumpers even though its on a second generation explorer itll still give you some ideas...

I got some squarish steel tubing (i think they where home depot shelves) and Im gonna be welding up bumpers out of that. I hope Ill be able to get the breaker for the welder setup today. Im basically gonna have the bumper look something like this..

i had perry make my bumpers ( www.perrysfabnfiber.com ) down in lemongrove, sandiego. i dont know about pismo... ill be going to visit my brother within the next month probably so when i do ill be sure to let everyone know if we want to make a trip out of it.

damn that was a fast reply. Yah I've talked to him about fabbed bumpers before and it seemed like a big-ass rape. He wanted like 600 for front and 400 for rear. I thought that was too much for nothin extremely spectacular. They are a hell of a lot better than stock though. Your front one looks like the yellow one one his business cards. How much did you pay?

400 front, 200 rear. if i were to get a hitch mounted in the rear bumper i think it was more like 400 for the rear. and the front was 500 for the full bumper he normally makes but i didnt want all the bars that cover the headlights so he took off 100.

Is the skidplate strong? Have you tagged anything with it? That sounds like an ok deal. Did you have to have it down in mexico and stuff for a few days or what?

i havent tagged anything with the skid plate yet, i think im going to get a new piece of metal that goes all the way to the frame. when i took it to perrys i was about to go on vacation so i just left it to him for a week and he took it down to mexico and did the work there then brought it back up for me to get it.
