Help needed

Greetings everyone, I need everyones help to narrow down a model year on an explorer. I've noticed that on the 1995 model the license plate is mounted on the rear bumper, but sometime before the 2001 model the license plate was moved to the liftgate. My question is, what model year (s) had the license plate mounted on the rear bumper of the 4 door Explorer?

1995-1997 had the license plate on the bumper. In 1998 the plate was moved to the hatch till 2001.
