I just did a timing chain replace on my '98 Ex. Got everything back in today and all the fluids in, fired it and it's perfectly in time. However I have absolutely no oil pressure. I took the oil filter completely off while it was running and had no oil run out. Does the jackshaft turn the pump? Could I have accidentally unhooked the oil pump from whatever drives it? Or could the oil pump be air locked? I took the bottom cover off of the oil pump when I had the motor out and it looked ok. There was no oil in the pump when I put it back together. I am at a loss here with what to do....it's a great Ex and I don't want to have to scrap it. Please help.
