I have an Audiophile Systems in my 1997 Limited. The Sub Amp died so I installed a JENSEN 600 watt, bridgeable amp. I disconnected the battery before I started and used the power wires that went to the old factory amp. Once it was all connected I put the battery cable back on and tried to test the system, now the Head unit will not work. I checked all of the fuses for the radio and sound system they were all OK. I can get the knobs and buttons to light up when the lights are on but the digital display is blank, there is no sound, the aerial will not come up and the phone check does not work. I am not sure where to go from hear, any help you guys can give me would be great.:salute:

You need to run all new wiring if you have a 600watt amp in place of the factory one. IIRC the factory amp is 50-100watts... Nowhere near the right gauge for 600watts

Radio not working

I disconnected the new amp and will run a new power wire, but my radio still does not work.

Did you find the 20 amp radio fuse? Mine went out before. I changed the 15 amp fuse with no luck then I found the 20 amp fuse, that fixed it.

Radio still not working?

I tested the 3 fuses, all ok, for the system still no luck!:(
