Since my first day of ownership is over, I need a little help. I have been able to take a few things off the list .:shoot:

1. Fix the rusted bolt rear window latch!!
Ordered Part
2. Clean the MAF Need tool
3. Change the T-STAT (test the new one to see if it works) DONE!! and now have heat
4. Crawl on the underside to see if that D*&^ rattle is the CAT shields. (my 91 ranger had the same problem)

NOT the heat shields Coming from the front end, I can wiggle the rod from the Pitman arm to the spindle really easy, Is this bad??? This problem is only there on light bumps, and the archives didn't really lead to one answer.

5. Had to rebalance the front wheels, tteerriibbllle sshhaakkee abbooovvvee 666000 mmmppphhhh. MMIIGGHTT BBEE REELLAATTEEDD TTOO TTHHHEE RRAATTTTTLLEEE.

6. Changed oil and filter after the T-STAT. Old oil smelled strongly of gasoline. Is this normal? Last oil change was supposed to have been 5000 miles ago. I didn't want to guess and was kind of thinking of flushing the system before adding 5W30 synthetic;) .

7. Alternator bearing sounds loud, Is this typically a problem with these??:(

I think that's all for now (first two days of ownership)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks:exp:
