First off i had a little encounter with a curb and knocked my steering out of whack. My truck goes straight but the steering wheel is turned a little to the left. Whats the easiest way to get it somewhat straight? I searched but didnt find any good answers. I was hoping to fix it in the mean time till i have time for my buddy to set it straight again.
Secondly i have a couple of codes being thrown. I look them up and got what they mean but i have a little trouble interpting them. I searched but i didnt find a clear answer.
P1000 I clear this code and it always stays in the memory. I put about 1500 miles on since i last cleared but it wont go away. My check engine light doesnt come on for this one.

Now the new codes that started tonight.
P0153 which is censor circut slow response bank 2 sensor 1. I imagine this must be o2 censor but which one?
P1260- Theft Detected: Engine Disabled. Not sure but my truck still ran fine. I stopped it and started it again and it still started.
Both these codes just started tonight but i cleared them and started the truck and it was cleared but i really need to drive it and see what happens. I imagine these will probably come back to haunt me yet though.

So if you guys have any suggestions i would really appreciate it. Thanks

With hitting the curb you might of bent a tie rod, if you dont get it fixed soon your tires will start wearing funny. Take a look and let us know if there are any differences from right to left side of the front suspension components.

Alright i will take a look in the morning and post back. I should have mentioned that i took a look under there and didnt notice anything out of place. I believe both front tires seem to line up with each other fine. But i will take a closer look at the tie rods then.

Alright i checked the tie rods and they both seem fine. THe only difference is the passenger side the head of the tie rod points backwards while on the driver side it points forwards. Still looking for anwsers for the codes too.

p1000 isnt a malfunction code. it just indicates that all the monitors have not set yet. whenever you clear codes it clears the KAM and the moniitors need to reset. monitors are set by specific driving conditions. just ignore that code.

Alright i figured thats what i should do for the P1000. Thanks
