help. thrott takes a bit to go down after i let off gas

new egr vavle.

i have not gone to autozone and ran the codes yet. but am wondering what you guys think so far what it could be.

its been awhile since last post. you guys here at the forum are awesome.

If you have codes to be read that would be the first thing to do. Otherwise its just hit and miss.

Does it also happen when you manually move the throttle at the engine?
Have you considered maybe your pedal or throttle cable have debris stuck in it?
Have you checked the electronic throttle body?

it happens after i give it gas.

nothing is stuck everything is free flowing.

annd no. i wouldnt know what to look for.


i will prolly get the codes ran today. or maybe tomorrow. its not that big of an issue as i am driving manual.

probable cause

1 misfire on bank 1

2 vacuum leak affecting bank 1 only

3 fuel injector problem bank 1

4 engine mechanical condition.

it should not be #1 i just changed plugs and coil pack last summer.

vacuum leak probably cause of the way it idles

fuel injector problem possibly because when i let off gas it still is goin.

recommendations? suggestions? what do you guys think?
