I have a 1998 Ford Explorer that will turn over but does not start. I have installed new battery, wires, cam sensor, crank sensor, and ignition coil and still NOTHING! I have spark at the coil. I have no engine codes popping up! I have fuel pressure. I have enough air to the motor. PATS system is saying it is fine. My air bag sensors are plugged in and good. All my fuses and relays are good.
This is how it all started...it died at a stop sign..after a few cranks it started back up...got it to the house and it will not start again.

Please help me! Thank you! Mike.

IAC valve??
I had this stalling at junctions but restarted with difficulty on an e30 bmw and a saab 9000 both times cleaning the iac sorted it

I suggest that you perform a compression check. Your timing chain may have slipped. Very low compression on all cylinders on one bank indicates timing chain slip on that bank.

I do not hear the timing rattle when I start it. I'm going to buy a compression gauge just to do it. Thanks.

So????
