Does anyone know what the four color coded wires going to the factory tow package plug go to? I need to wire in a 4 pin connector for towing but my factory plug is destroyed, so i want to hard wire it in.

1 is ground
1 is left turn signal
1 is right turn signal
1 is tail/marker lights

Not sure what color each will be, but using a multimeter will tell you which is which very quickly. Turn on the tail lights and clip onto 2 wires. Keep switching wires until you get +12V. At that point, your negative lead is on your ground wires (leave it there). The positive lead is your tailight wire. Turn off tail lights, and turn on a turn signal to find which of the remaining wires is left and which is right.

Get a "noid light" or a voltmeter and start testing away - only sure way of getting 100% correct.
