Hello all, I just bought my Sport Trac manual trans. this week with 210,000 miles. It has quite a few cosmetic issues such as door a lock need replacing or adjusting, need to paint tailgate to match rest of car, two passenger-side exterior door handles are broken, etc..

I have two things I need help with.
The first is that my reverse lights aren't working. I have replaced the bulbs and made sure the number 27 fuse is working.
The only thing I can figure out is that I need to replace the switch on top of the transmission which I believes causes the lights to go on or off.
I'm not quite sure what it's called. I have heard reverse sensor and neutral safety with.

I would like to know what it's called, what I need to order and how to put it on if it is actually the reason for my problem.
If not that what can I do? (remember, this is a 5spd)

The other is about my two exterior passenger-side door handles that are broke. I have replacements but I'm not quite sure how to put them on. I have seen a how-to video online but the on that particular video they show that when they are replacing the door handle they are putting bolts in the holes and not riveting them.
So my question is, can I simple find some bolts to put the door handle back in or do I need/should I rivet them back?

Thank You,
