My A/C has never really cooled the truck very well.
I had most of it replaced when it was converted to the new type of freon about a year ago. It seems to get cool ,but I think it just not blowing enough air through it.
Is there a way to tell if the blower itself is running at full speed or maybe reduced voltage running it ?
Any one else ever have the same Prob. ?

why did you have the freon replaced last year?

opps didn't read the first line.

I had a similar problem.

First, did it work fine right after you had it serviced?

You may have a slow leak. I would take it back and have them check the pressure. If it is down, have them charge it with dye.

after several trys w/dye, the o-rings and condensor had to be replace. o-rings are cheap and they should have done that when they changed your system. Condensor - $200 on ebay. Find a station that will do it for you first. Some places won't accept the customer parts.

I don't think it's leaking

I checked the output Temp. at the vents and it is cooling down to the Temp. range that the book says it should.
It looks to me like it is just not blowing enough air into the truck to cool it . The speed switch for the blower seems to function but it feels like it is switching between slow, slower and slowest.
