Help with changing the colors of the lettering in my truck.

Ok I got to a point this week where i realized i want to change up my dash a lil bit. I want to change the lettering on my AC contrls and stuff. i Dont want the light coming through to be Green i want to change it to blue but im curious as to how to do that. also with the knobs as im sure you know thy have green plastic inserts to make the light come through green i want to make them clear or change it if possible. thanks in advance.

Look at some of the LED light threads on this sight. They would be under the lighting section i believe. I have put in all new white LED and it change all of my cluster from green to blue. For the instrument cluster and AC control. If i remember right people have said that the color of LED will come through the green inserts but i think different models and years may be different.

on your a/c controls, all you have to do is remove the insert on the back side of the controls, then put which ever color you would like for bulbs inside of them. as for the a/c switches, there is a colored plastic insert that would have to be removed. i have done this to my truck, with the exception of the a/c switches.
