I have a 2002 Explorer Sport with the 'premium' ford stereo (6 cd in dash that says pioneer but is oem), the model # for the unit is 1L2f-18c815-lb. Does anyone know the designations for the pins on the DIN connectors? Or where I could get I daigram for them? Thanks

You can go to Best Buy and get the connector that plugs directly into the OEM harness. It has all the wires with the standard color codes on the new plug. I just bought one when I replaced my head unit and the plug was about $15-$20 a little pricey but there is no cutting and splicing into the stock harness. It also has the color codes on the back of the package.
