I tried searching for some info about these codes and was not very successful. Maybe somebody can point me towards a thread that covers how to repair, or tell me what to do next.....

Svc. Engine Soon light came on and I had AutoZone read the codes for me a while back, here's what they said:

P0401: PCM has determined that there is insufficient flow in the exhaust gas recirculation system

P0402: PCM has determined that there is excessive flow in the exhaust gas recirculation system

P1400: DPFE EGR circuit low input

Any takers?

dpfe sensor... its $74 from fpn, its the same price from autozone/kragens/pepboys, i would rather trust fords part.... its a simple part to replace.

from what i have heard, make sure to replace the hoses going to and from it, those are usually more culprit to the problem

I second that conclusion, however I only paid like $24 at the local parts store when I replaced mine.

looked it up online at autozone (they call it an EGR Pressure Sensor) their online price $47

You might first check the plumbing to the EGR sensor before you run out and buy one, its very common for the hoses to fall off or fall apart...
