Help with ideas for a 5.0 swap

Alright guys i'm toying with the idea of swaping in a 5.0 into my 94 ford explorer 4x4 and i had a few questions.
First is what, if any, clearance problems will i run into?
I'm guessing that it is easiest to swap to a carb, how hard is it to keep the it fuel injected?
Engine mounts, does anyone make ones for the swap? will i have to fab my own? Will the stock ones work?
Exhaust does anyone make long tubes for the swap, or is there any that fit, or even shorties that would fit?
I was thinking of swaping the trans too. Good idea? I was thinking c6, i heard there pretty good. Will it fit? would a AOD be a better?
Lastly to anyone who has done the swap what extra cost am I going to be looking at?

I am looking froward to hear back from you guys, and I am open to suggestion. This build is not going to happen overnight and I plan on taking my time, and hopfully will be able to start a mild rebuild on an 5.0 this summer (stock rebuilt bottom end, aftermarket heads/cam, nothing crazy)

I have been doing a little bit of transmission research and i think i would like to go with a AOD or a E4OD because they have a overdrive and the C6's didn't. Any opinions?

another thing, what is involved with all the electronics?

i have been looking around on the forum and almost everthing i find is someone showing off there finished project, or someone ask for suggestions (like me) and several people reply "search around on the forum" i'm not having much sucess

hello. Im new to this forum thing and im not much for computers but ive hit a wall and need some good reliable info. Im currently building up my 91 explorer, Ive so far got a 10.25 rear axle, a Chevy front D60, with custom radius arms. Ive got a 302 Ho from an 88 mustang and im having problems with the trans/tcase options that i can run. Im on an extremly tite budget but i have no problem taking extra time to save money. I have ability to get a used C5 for very cheap, but i have a few concerns, i cannot find any good info on what transfer cases where behind them, I need to run a chevy side front output, but i still want to use a ford trans with my 5.0 Can I adapt maybe a jeep Dana 300 to that C5? I also have both a 205 and a 203 sitting in my yard but again chevy parts, i like the idea of a doubler but can i put that 203 to that c5? i would appreciate any help on the subject and im sorry if this doesnt end up in the right spot but like i said this forum thing is all new to me
