Help With Radio Bezel Decision

Hey all I need some advice here..... I saw on another post that one of our fellow X owners used a escape radio bezel that was silver instead of painting his / her current one. I really like this idea, my question to you all is: My 199 X Sport is 4x4 and the switch on the Escape bezel reads 2wd instead of auto like mine does now the high and low match up. Does this make a difference? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Why not look into a silver bezel from 01-03 Sports and 01-04 Sport Tracs? They're silver and come with that style of switch you're looking for...

correction: It is for an 01 Explorer Sport and it has all the features I need the only concern I have is if the 2wd instead of Auto in the switch is going to make a difference. Here is the piece I am looking at on EBAY, tell me if you think that it will work: Item number: 2473520512

it wont matter as long as your switch has the regular 3 positions and i think it does... should have auto 4x4, 4x4 high and 4 lo

why not just paint it though? then you can paint other things silver too, like the door switch panels to match. if you do it right, it will come out as good or better than the factory look.
