2007 Ford Explorer rwd
Okay I have about 100k on my explorer. It's a 2007 v6 rwd. The other day I had the wrench light c0me on. The truck ran like crap. It would shift and then rev up. Use have to let go off the gas to shift gears. It felt like truck was limping. When truck shifted felt like I was getting rear ended. I thought Tranny was gone. But I turned off and restarted and was fine. I have been having a check engine light for a EGR valve that I replaced today. Engine light is gone. But I drove today and wrench light came on and truck drives terrible. So I had code checked. P0733 and p0745. I'm really stressed out about this. I use my truck for work and I can't use it right now. I bought truck used with 90k for 10k cash. I work my but off and have no problem replacing part. I just don't want the dealer to put his tip in my ass for a diagnosis.

The transmissions between your vehicle and his are very similar. Also, check the connector on the transmission to make sure it is clean and seated properly. Good Luck.

In the end he never solves problem. I seeing if this problem is fixed with out a new tran. I see code is to replace solenoid, but I hate to pay 700 and still replace trans. I really don't know what to do at this point. I don't know if I should just sell the truck or replace part.

Yes, but it gives you all the testing procedures and voltages to establish if the solenoid is bad. It also at least gives you an idea of what you are up against before you go to a shop for an estimate of repairs.

Rebuilt transmission 2800$$ drives like new.
