my 2002 ford sport trak 2 wheel drive seems to be wanting to stall when idoling,transmission fluid is low,i cant find where to add fluid,would that be the problem?

You add fluid to where the dipstick is. I seriously doubt thats your problem though. Sounds like a fuel or spark issue. This could be many many things.

I had a similar problem but with my 93' ex and it was because I had a hole in my vacuum hose so the car would die if i didn't keep the rpm's up every time I was stopped. But there was a pretty distinct hissing noise when the car was on.

Welcome to this forum! The 5R55W doesn't have a dipstick. You need to climb under the vehicle, and pump the fluid into it. Do you have a check engine light or a flashing O/D light?
