I have a 1995 Ford Explorer Eddy Bauer.

Last week my "door ajar" light came out, and would not go out. Last night, the dome lights came on and wouldn't go out. Pulled the fuse to turn those off. Now all the power windows will not operate, nor will the sunroof and the 4WD indicator flashes intermittently.

Suggestions please before I drive it off a mountain pass.

Put the fuse back to get everything else to work again. Then find out which door is causing the issue. Then either replace the door ajar switch from that door or remove it temporarily. I believe it is attached to the latch. Remove door panel for access. Currently mine is removed on driver door, but will be replacing soon. I ran into the same problem as you due to latch damage from the door sag before my hinges were fixed.

it could be your GEM my 4wd lights started blinking like that and that was the fix
