Has anyone used any type of helper spring like this? Dead Link Removed I need to come up with a way to stiffen my front leafs without really lifting them at all. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks
Robb

hmm.. i dunno... but are them jeep springs really that soft?

I wouldn't call them "soft", but yes, they don't like the weight of an X.

Yes true, he's turning his X into his 'Tow Rig' and i seen a pic with them, now taht you mention it

Yup, I am running a set of them on the back of my XLT. I have them loose right now and the ride is stiff, when I tightened them, it was like I had no springs. I'm not sure if they would be the best thing for your application though. I will say they work great for towing. Here are a couple pics of them installed...

Are your fronts already sagging Robb? Show us a picture, i'd like to see what you're talking about.

They aren't sagging. Hard to explain. With enough force, it is possible to flatten the leafs enough to snap the shackles back on the mounts, at which point, they lock there. From reading in other places, I have come to the conculsion that it will be a trial and error type of thing using a combination of the Lift Packs, the Stock Packs, and maybe an AAL. We thought the lifted packs would be able to handle the weight, close, but not quite.

Splashman, thanks for the info and the pic! I definately don't think that is what I am looking for.

Thanks Guys!
