Been a while, trying to do more outside and not be so fat. But anyways my explorer has been getting a little hesitant and a couple times almost stalling out at an intersection when i begin to pull away. I'm also hearing what sounds like an exhaust leak. Both the hesitation and leak noise are only noticeable from idle to around 1750 rpm. I've looked up what has been discovered about the hesitation and it seems an ECT sensor is the acccepted fix for that, i'm wondering if that has anything to do with the noise or if anyone has had a similar problem, what they found worked out for them. I know intake gaskets cause hesitation and poor idle but i've never heard a noise associated with them.
