Hello, I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Kris, and I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada. I drive a 93 XLT Explorer for my winter rig, and just got it on the road.... In the summer time, I have 2 cars on the go, an '89 Honda Prelude, and my newest toy, a '93 Honda Prelude.
When I got my Explorer, it needed "a lot" of work... I had to replace both rockerpanels, both dog legs, and had to make new rear fenders for it. Had to replace the head gasket, get the starter rebuilt, fix a busted transmission line, and replace 3 brake lines... Did all the work myself with the help of my dad, but finially got it on the road 2 days ago!
Now that its running, I'm checking into goodies for it since I'm going to be driving it all winter... Might replace the grill, maybe the taillights, and most of all, I want to chip it. Thats what brings me to this site, I'm in search of info on what the best one is, whether to spend the big bucks for something like a Hypertech chip, or if one of those cheap resistor chips for under the hood actually work.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here and hopefully I'll learn a thing or two.
