Hey guys,
I found this forums before I bought my Explorer on Sept. 1st. Thanks to this forums I figured out how to fix all the problems before I even bought the thing. I bought a 1993 Ford Explorer Limted for 290 bucks and 10 for gas.
They sold it to me empty. Needs body work, quite a bit of surface rust. The 4x4 wasnt working but does now (shift motor obviously). The AC doesnt work but to hell with that! There's nothing mechanically wrong with it at all aside from the AC. Has 320k clicks on it.
A little about me now! My name is Greg and I'm 18. This is my first vehicle purchase and **** was this ever a deal! By trade I'm a Network Engineer but my hobby is being a mechanic. Not much to say really.
